Second major assignment of the semester, where the objective was to collaborate with other members of the classroom in groups of 3 or 4 to do research and answer the question of whether or not AI image generation perpetuates stereotypes and biases. Research was done through using a generative AI named Craiyon or Bing that generated images based on specific key terms and phrases. These phrases being professions that each member of each group chose, upon the images being generated data was analyzed and then compared to datasets of profession/job title demographics at either Zippia or the Department of Labor. Findings were presented in a lab report after and presented to the classroom as well.
